The Journey Home to Self

Over the last four months I’ve been,

On a Journey home to Self.

During this time I’ve learnt that,

The biggest shifts occur when,

Healing comes from within.

Healing begins in the heart,

Those parts of you that have been hurt,

The events that have shocked you!

They have left you wounded.

You know the ones, you were not prepared for.

They have the ability to freeze you.

You become very still.

It’s like you’re not even in your own body.

The parts that are hard to face,

The parts that you find hard to explain,

‘How many times can a heart break’, you ask?

Hearts don’t break darling they just expand into more Love.

You’re not there yet…

And that’s ok my dear.

I’ve been there too.

You ask…’where am I?’

You’re in transit…

You’re healing oh Brave one!

It takes a lot of courage to heal those parts of you.

It takes time.

‘Why didn’t I see the signs?’

Sometimes we need to go through these things.

You ask why?

Because you needed to expand and crack open,

In order to let the Light & Love flow in.

You answer…

‘I feel devastated, sad, I’m crying myself to sleep.’

I know,

I see you,

I feel you,

It’s ok,

It’s where you need to be,

In order to truly heal.

Just know that in Vulnerability there is Strength!

I’m so proud of you for taking this journey.

I’m so proud of you for not giving in.

I’m so proud of you for seeking help when needed.

I’m so proud of you for taking your time.

I’m so proud of you for listening to your voice.

I’m so proud of you for not settling.

I’m so proud of you for going after your Wants!

I’m so proud of you for fighting for your dreams!

I’m so proud of you for loving yourself enough,

To walk away from situations, people & things

that no longer serve you.

I invite you to give yourself love, patience, kindness

and Grace.

You are Worthy,

You are Deserving,

You are Loved,

You are Enough,

Please know that this too shall pass.
